When I asked him for a witness in his language, Diego was in the USA - in Washington DC.

He replied "Eja", which means Yes in the Sardinian language. He understood that I was asking for a Sardinian speech - the language of our Land.

His experience in the U.S.A. coincided with the global pandemic and the assassination of George Floyd.

During Easter he sent me a video of his town Santu Lussurgiu in which the religious dogmas were spreading from the speakers - because of the lockdown - in order not to miss the yearly tradition.

I imagined his track as a trip from Santu Lussurgiu, letting him arriving directly in the big capital of USA ("sa capitale manna") where he also made some recordings of the demonstrations, taking part.
