"Silenzio" has been recorded and mixed during the lockdown due to the covid19 pandemic.

The record counts eight witnesses - Thomas Malotin, Elaheh Mohammadbaghban, Gabriele Gasparotti, Diego Pani, Daniele Borri, Dimitrios Kaitsis, Giona Vinti, Sarah Kristof - concerning their experiences of this historical period, which includes thoughts in Czech, Farsi (Persian), Sardo (Sardinian language), German recorded in the United States, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy.

Every sound on this record was recorded, sampled, demolished and rebuilt between the four walls of my house, except the voices (of any kind) of the protagonists.

Artwork by the artist Paolo "Animamundi" Sanna; the birds on the cover represents the nature that has taken over its spaces when humanity had to stop.

Mastering by Nicola Olla at Blacktooth Studio, already on the desk for “A Bolu, in C” (2017 - Talk about records) and “Four Movements of a Shade” (2018 - Midira records).

"Silenzio" represents what I have felt and perceived for months.

"Silenzio" represents the stillness.

"Silenzio" is a soundtrack of witnesses, experiences, lives and - for this reason - it was not conceived to be perfect.

"Silenzio" is an untranslatable word in Sardinian language because in our ancient reality it didn't need a real word to be described or defined.

"Silenzio" is a concept that has come back with arrogance in our current reality on several levels, in particular social, generational and political.

Dedicated to whom has been there from the beginning,
to whom was there and is no longer,
to whom will always be there.
